The valley is flanked on both sides by deciduous woodland and High Dale Park Barn has a beautiful, unspoilt, south facing view down the valley, which is made up of three hamlets: High Dale Park, Middle Dale Park and Low Dale Park.
Excellent walks and cycle rides are in abundance in Grizedale Forest, literally seconds away from the Barn. The Grizedale Visitor Centre and Go Ape attraction are just 15 minutes by car, or an hour’s walk.
The historic, medieval village of Hawkshead is situated just 3 miles due north of Dale Park.
Beatrix Potter’s house and the Windermere Car Ferry are just 10 minutes car ride away.
Our property is owner-managed. We live next to the Barn - at right angles - so we don't overlook each other. There is ample parking space for six cars and we have secure, undercover bike storage available.
We welcome children of all ages, but pets are by arrangement only.
