Hello my name is Iain McKinstry I am the chief instructor and also school owner. I have around 20 years training in the Korean Martial Arts.
I opened McKinstry Family Martial arts in April 2009 and since then I have helped many people achieve their goals they have set around; the ability to defend themselves physical fitness, strength and discipline.
I have a real passion for the martial arts and maybe you too have a reason to try them for yourself or your child - so come along to our school and we can work together.
I hold 2nd Dan in Tang Soo Do and 3rd Dan in Soo Bahk Do (Korean Karate Styles). I have many years experience as a practioner of the martial arts and have been teaching for 12 years. In 2008 I qualified as a Certified Instructor in Martial Arts approved by the learning council. I am also a practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan along with Ju Jitsu and Krav Maga. I have the fully enhanced disclosure DBS check.
McKinstry Family Martial Arts is a family-friendly Martial Arts school established over 10 years ago, operating from our own dedicated well-equipped premises in Ormskirk, we have numerous classes over three evenings per week and weekends.
