 Located in the centre of Weston-Super-Mare the Playhouse is a friendly and welcoming 664-seat theatre which offers a lively and diverse programme of events to meet the entertainment, creative and educational requirements of its local and surrounding community. The Playhouse’s high quality programme of professional and community events includes around 300 performances per year including music, drama, comedy, dance, musicals, film, children’s shows, pantomime and more recently West End Productions. The Playhouse Theatre is available for hire for both community and professional shows and as a venue for conferences, meetings and corporate events. In addition to the main auditorium the theatres facilities include a licensed bar, meeting and rehearsal spaces and full disabled access. Our dedicated and professional staff are used to working with all visiting companies and hirers to ensure a successful event while our welcoming and caring front of house team ensure patrons an enjoyable entertainment experience.
