There are a few things that are quintessentially British, traditional tea drinking, home baking, good old fashioned service, a warm welcome and family ideals are among them.
Giving you a little touch of nostalgia, we are located in the middle of a beautiful Victorian Arcade, Leeds City Centre. The Grand Arcade was built in 1897 and has three separate glass door entrances. Access is a few steps up from the Grand Theatre and for a truly unique vintage experience we accompany vintage crockery and cutlery with the most scrumptious baked goods you have ever tasted!
Luxury ingredients are all brought together to provide the best speciality loose leaf tea (25+ flavours), trusted Yorkshire tea, fresh baked cakes, specialty scones and unique afternoon tea every day! We cater for most dietary requirements, including vegan, gluten/dairy free and halal.
We’re open for private hire events any day or night which is subject to availability. Occasionally, throughout the year we showcase – Psychic Evenings, Life Drawing Classes, Christmas and Theatre Specials – please see our Facebook or Instagram pages for details.
Should you wish to taste our unique Afternoon Teas we would encourage that you book in advance by paying a £5 per person security deposit (deducted from the bill on the day) to secure the food and table(s). The Tearoom is busy baking and serving customers therefore telephone bookings are not recommended.

Lastly, weekends carry a 10% service charge and so do bookings for eight(8) people or more which boosts staff morale and tips. We look forward to serving you soon!
