From a court of law to a Bar & Grill…
The Establishment Bar & Grill is an exciting, unique bar situated in the cobbled streets of the cathedral quarter in the city centre.
It is set in the the Old County Hall which dates back to 1783 and until the mid 80's used to be the main court in Coventry.
The building is infamous as the place where the last public hanging in Britain took place.
Features from the old courtroom have been beautifully restored including the judge’s seat and the crown crest along with the viewing gallery and the dock.
The cells have been transformed into a unique dining area.
The Establishment Bar & Grill have kept a contemporary/vintage feel creating a homely environment to relax, enjoy food and drink in the company of friends, family and colleagues.
