Southampton Water Activities Centre (SWAC) is a purpose built sailing and powerboat centre set on the River Itchen. SWAC is situated on the old Floating Bridge site on the mouth of Southampton Water. The Centre is a RYA training provider for sailing and powerboat and HSE provider for First Aid Courses. SWAC also provides children's activities, private tuition, parties, corporate team building days, environmental studies, specialist shore based courses such as Sea Survival and SRC/DSE Radio license. The Centre also provides clubs for people with learning and/or physical disabilities. All beginners are welcome. Participants must be 8 years old or over and all courses/activities come with specialist clothing and equipment hire. Open all year round with free onsite car parking.
