Want to get fit? Neil Eriksen is a fully qualified Personal Trainer in Exeter with extensive experience in biomechanics and sports injury management.
Smile Fitness Personal Training is run by Neil Eriksen who first qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2005 then Graduated from the University of Plymouth with 1st class honours Health & Fitness in 2006. He has been working privately since then from gyms and Personal Training studios in and around Exeter.
He specialised in sports injuries at university and did his first Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy course in 2005. He has since updated in 2014 with a CPD course in Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy.
With Smile Fitness Neil now specialises as a Personal Trainer in injury management and fitness performance using his skills in sports injuries, massage, biomechanics and exercise to train people with bespoke exercises for sport and exercise, work or day to day life.
Neil is the longest serving intrinsic 'Biomechanics Coach' on the planet! Biomechanics is a trademarked systematic approach to understand a person’s body so as to provide bespoke exercises to irradiate 'weak links' and pains or discomforts so that injury is reduced and performance capacity is ultimately increased, sometimes with amazing results.
Neil is training with Biomechanics Education to teach other fitness professionals how to assess their clients properly so they can avoid potentially damaging exercises, reduce discomforts and ultimately increase performance.
Out of hundreds of fitness professionals globally who have qualified as a Biomechanics Coach Neil Eriksen is the only Personal Trainer in Devon & Cornwall with the full Biomechanics Coach qualification. He enjoys helping people who struggle with their bodies and really want to be able to push themselves in sports and exercise without discomforts and injuries or who want to gain an edge in high level performance and competition.
A part of his work is focused on helping employees in the working place with the skills he has and his understanding of health and fitness.
Neil is very holistic in his approaches to exercise and nutrition in Personal Training, developing healthy lifestyles and improving fitness so he focuses more on health, wellbeing and performance than aesthetics. Neil says “Aesthetics such as a lean and toned physique will develop naturally as a by-product of your actions, focus on the actions and the outcomes will happen”.
