Counsellors' Collective South West LLP

NHS Exclusive Offer

80 Kings Castle Road Wells United Kingdom BA5 3LT

Key Worker Discount:
We would like to offer NHS staff 2 discounts: 1. Affordable counselling. Following a first meeting if a staff member would like to begin a series of counselling or psychotherapy appointments they would be given some pre-printed envelopes. At each appointment they would bring an envelope into which they had put what they could afford for that session. We have a guide price of £40 / hour, but recognise that this is more than some staff would be able to afford and we seek to subsidise the work through fundraising so that our therapists receive a modest sum for any work that they do. 2. A discounted price for our Conference: 'Therapy - Treatment or Journey?' to be held at the Conference Centre of the University of the West of England on Saturday, 22 November 2014. All NHS staff are offered the Early Bird price of £90 throughout the booking period and a further discount of 15% would be offered to group bookings of 4 or more.

The Counsellors' Collective offers individuals and organisations, such as GP surgeries, schools and employee support schemes, a whole range of flexible, bespoke therapeutic services from Counselling and Psychotherapy to Supervision, Consultancy, and Training. These services can be accessed directly by the public or by professionals wanting to make referrals. To ensure the highest standards of practice the Collective has stringent criteria for membership. Full members are all UKCP registered or BACP accredited and all have significant experience of working in the NHS and/or education, and carry at least one reference from a doctor or senior (non counsellor) colleague. All adhere to a clear code of ethics concerning ongoing training, insurance, confidentiality and supervision. The Collective has a Community arm, operating under the name of Health Works, which increasingly offers Affordable Counselling and Psychotherapy through GP surgeries and in the community. Health Works has been supported by the Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge for several years and they help us to raise funds to subsidise our Affordable Counselling.
