Tumbling streams, duck ponds complete with ducks, hidden pathways and secluded arbours offer peace and tranquillity and an opportunity to watch the wildlife and the many birds and wildflowers. The cottage offers a cosy welcome with a warm log fire to greet you, beamed ceilings and window seats. For warmer summer days there is a patio area with barbecue and if you should ever want to leave this idyllic little corner you are perfectly placed for touring either the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Fresh eggs and home baked bread are available from the owner close by and there is a good traditional butcher and fresh produce in Sedbergh just 3 miles away along with country pubs serving meals, tea shops and restaurants.
