Our log cabins Cumbria are just that, real log cabins made using the whole tree trunk skillfully cut to sit on top of one another.
The all-wood construction combined with a luxurious interior and stunning private river views make for an unforgettable experience with friends, family or just as a couple. Situated on the banks of the River Lyne, each cabin comes with miles of river to fish and explore. The area is a rich habitat for local birds and animals with kingfishers, otters and many other creatures.
Our Cabins
We have 5 log cabins Cumbria named after the wildlife and fauna in the area. Roe Deer, Kingfisher and Otterstone cabins all sleep up to 6 people. Bluebell and Foxglove cabins can sleep up to 10 people, which is perfect for groups of friends or families travelling together for special occasion. Honeymooners have expressed how romantic and ideal the cabins are for a short break. Our check in times are from 4pm to 7pm and checkout is at 10:30 am.
Hidden River House
We also have Hidden River House available from July 2017! An 18th century refurbished house that can be divided into two houses accommodating 10 people in each, or rented as one 20 person house, with 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
At Hidden River Cabins, we accept dogs in all our cabins. So bring your furry friend along with you! All we ask is that dogs do not go upstairs and that they enjoy the senses and smells of the surroundings woods and of course a bath in the river!
