What is the meaning of 'BaBa Reeba'? The name has its origins associated with being quick to deliver excitement. Here at BaBa Reeba we take this further and want to apply this meaning to our unique yet traditional Spanish cuisines. A chef that spent 14 years in Barcelona, the dishes prepared at Baba Reeba are channelled almost directly from Spain. The menu includes an array of paellas, risottos, pastas, tapas and meats, a rich blend of ingredients and methods influenced by the Spanish historical processes throughout time. Inspired by a blend of Greek, Roman (Italian), Arabic and North African cuisines throughout Spanish history they bought this inspiration back to Walsall created a great unique adventure called Baba Reeba.
The story starts with two young lads from the town of walsall and their journey that bought them to the Catalan city of Barcelona. Where they experienced a rich blend of ingredients and methods influenced by the Spanish historical processes throughout time. Inspired by a blend of Greek, Roman (Italian), Arabic and North African cuisines throughout Spanish history they bought this inspiration back to Walsall and opened 'BaBa Reeba'.
However the story doesn't end there. In their midst a Spanish chef with 15 years of experience working under the supervision of Michelin chefs at le Mariadan hotel made the journey back with them to BaBa Reeba to join a new adventure. So come and join us at 'BaBa Reeba!'
