Hello! My name is Mercedes and I am a piano teacher based in Aberdeen, offering piano lessons to students of all abilities from the University of Aberdeen's MacRobert Building. This cental Aberdeen location is ideal for pupils from across Aberdeen to attend for lessons, with the teaching space itself being an ideal place to learn to play the piano.
I am able to help students from beginner levels upwards, ensuring that our lessons are focused on the music that my student enjoys listening to - whether that is classical, jazz or contemporary styles. I am also able to help pupils who have perhaps taken a long break in playing the piano and are interested in restarting it as a hobby in later life. Indeed, learning to play the piano is a fantastic leisure activity for individuals who have busy, stressful work lives - giving them something to focus on without the pressure of work.
