 For over 25 years we have been providing self-catered holiday cottage accommodation in the Derbyshire Peak District. A family run business, we take pride and care in ensuring our properties are immaculately clean and plentifully equipped for all your holiday and event needs. Knockerdown Cottages has 16 cottages, sleeping 2 to 11 people, 2 x event rooms, indoor heated swimming pool, on site Brackendale Spa, games room, children's play area, The Knockerdown Inn pub just across the road and located just a 5-minute walk away from the beautiful Carsington Water. We also have another holiday cottage site Nether Burrows Holiday Cottages which has 4 larger cottages sleeping 10 to 14 people which are located in the lovely quiet countryside but just a 10-minute drive from Derby city centre, 2 cottages sleeping 14 and 2 sleeping up to 10 people with Sunshine cottage having its own private hot tub. Both sites have easy access to the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, so a great base for visiting places such as Alton Towers and Chatsworth House, off road cycling and walking on the Tissington Trail, or for the more adventurous why not have a day out at Wild Park Leisure - quad biking or paint balling. Whether relaxing or looking for adventure we have it all on our doorstep.
