Dance Trix is children’s and adult’s dance school, based predominantly in Billericay and South Hanningfield. As teachers, we are qualified with the Professional Teachers of Dancing to Licentiate level, having passed the required teaching qualifications. In addition to this, we are also fully DBS checked and both licensed chaperones.
We set up Saturday morning classes in Ingrave in 2012 with the aim to provide exciting and interactive dance lessons for all children aged 14 months and above. Since then, we have introduced a variety of classes including adult dance classes for a range of abilities from beginners to intermediate and advanced level. We now run a full range of classes in Billericay (Great Burstead) and additional children’s classes in South Hanningfield.
Our classes encourage a fun and friendly environment with the opportunity to participate in regular shows, events and dance exams to develop not only a student’s dance ability but confidence and teamwork skills…. and as a bonus, many that attend our classes have made new friends too. We truly see ourselves as a family; we host parties and social events through the year for children and adult students. In addition, we have recently received an Essex Mum’s ‘highly recommended’ award for the best independent group category!
We run a variety of classes for children with ballet, tap and jazz combined classes in Great Burstead (Billericay) and South Hanningfield on Saturdays and Hip Hop and Lyrical classes on a Friday evening in Little Burstead. We also run special Tiny Trixies classes as an interactive introduction to dance for those aged 14 months – 3.5 years. The first session at any of our classes is free and there is an additional pay as you go period of up to 3 weeks to trial our classes.
Adult classes run in various dance styles for different levels on Monday and Thursday evenings.
